Susan Elsley

I am an independent policy analyst, researcher and writer on children and young people. I run my own consultancy and use my experience as a policy analyst, researcher, manager, practitioner and campaigner in my work.

I aim to contribute to children and young people’s well-being and the organisations that support them. I have a longstanding interest in children and young people’s books, arts and culture.

I like working on challenging and innovative projects which add to an understanding of children’s lives and their rights. I enjoy working at the interface of policy, research and practice. Much of my work reflects this dynamic.

I undertake work for universities, government, voluntary organisations and health agencies. Working with you explains more about what I do.
