WRITER

I am a writer and live in Scotland. I write short and long fiction and get inspiration from the interconnections between people and the natural environment.

My short stories and poetry have been published in CrannógThe Storms, Fictive Dream, Northern Gravy, Postbox, Northwords Now, Pushing out the Boat, The Blue Nib and PENning. I won the Ennis Book Club Festival short story competition in 2024 and was shortlisted for the Alpine Fellowship Writing Prize in 2023 and the Moniack Mhor/The Bridge Trust’s Emerging Writer Award in 2019.

I have a background working in the voluntary and public sectors on my other passions – children’s human rights and supporting organisations to achieve change for children, young people and families.

I live in Edinburgh, Scotland and go north and west whenever I can.
